Welcome

The Construction Business Group is a non-profit organization affiliated with the National Alliance for Fair Contracting.  We work with employers, employees, contracting agencies and other governmental entities to insure fair and  responsible public contracting throughout Wisconsin.  We also work directly with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) and employers to ensure accurate completion of the annual Prevailing Wage Survey that is sent out to every contractor that did construction work in the State of Wisconsin.

It is important to everyone that all prevailing wage laws, public bidding laws, labor standards and safety regulations are followed on all public construction projects.  These requirements are critical to the economic vitality of our state and ensure equal opportunity and protections for both contractors and construction workers.  We help ensure that the contracting process for public construction work is administered equally and fairly and that the work awarded is done so based on the contractor’s ability to complete the work competently and efficiently while also maintaining community established compensation and work quality standards.

Our services are available free of charge and all inquiries are strictly confidential.  For more information, please contact us.
